Old Potrero Hotaling's Malted Rye Mash Whiskey is a 13 year old American rye in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted rye and bottled in bond in San Francisco.
The whiskey matured for 13 years in once-used, charred, fine-grain American oak Old Potrero barrels.
The nose is elegant, with citrus, baking spice and sandalwood. The palate is sweet on entry, with soft stone fruit, a bright note, a hint of peppercorn and creamy spice. The finish brings orange flower water, delicate rye spice and black tea, and ends crisp.
