Old Potrero Toasted Barrel is a six-year-old rye whiskey from Hotaling & Co. in San Francisco. It is distilled in a small copper pot still from 100% rye malt.
The whiskey was aged for a minimum of six years in new, toasted American white oak barrels, made from extra-fine grain wood that was air-dried for 24 months. It was released in time for American Independence Day and has a deep amber colour.
