This is Old Pulteney 10 Year Old, a Highland single malt bottled at 48% ABV as a distillery exclusive for the distillery's 200th anniversary.
The whisky was first matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then in a pairing of Manzanilla and Oloroso casks. That dual maturation is a first for Old Pulteney.
Vanilla, citrus and spiced dried fruit lead the flavour, settling into crème caramel and salted chocolate, with the distillery's maritime character running through to the finish.
