Old Pulteney 15 Year Old Single Cask #1454 was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2022. It was matured by the sea in a single ex-bourbon cask of American oak, which gave 270 bottles at a cask strength of 52.2% ABV. It comes in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and non-chill-filtered.
The whisky is dark gold in the glass. Vanilla and honeyed toffee on the nose give way to ripe apples and almonds, and the creamy finish combines salted caramel with tropical fruit.
