An Old Pulteney single cask from the Craft Release series, Season Four, cask #13. This is a 16 year old Highland single malt, bottled at a cask strength of 54.6% abv, with 256 bottles in the release. It spent six years in a Pinot Noir cask.
In the glass it is golden with warm amber highlights. The nose offers strawberry jam, sweet red fruits and subtle savoury notes over gentle coastal brine. The palate is bold and warming, with early sweetness, lively spice and maritime character alongside Pinot Noir fruit. The finish is long and warming, ending on a lingering sweetness.
