Old Pulteney – 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Old Pulteney 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured in Wick, on Scotland's northern coast, and bottled at 46%. The whisky spends its first years in American oak ex-bourbon casks, then moves into first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks. That pairing brings dried-fruit sweetness, warming spice and dark chocolate, alongside the coastal character the distillery is known for. The nose is dark chocolate, creamy vanilla, honey and spice, lifted by fresh citrus. The palate adds dried fruits, cinnamon and a hint of apple and orange, and the finish is long, with oak, gentle spice and a touch of sea salt.
