This is a 19 year old Old Pulteney, a Highland single malt distilled in 1974, with a pale amber colour.
The nose combines soft spices, quince and fig with a note of sea air, along with cigar box, orange blossom honey, Earl Grey tea, caramel fudge and leather polish. On the palate, orange liqueur and green tea come together with liquorice, marzipan and cough syrup. The finish is medium long, with cinnamon-like tannins and orange in the aftertaste.
