This is an older bottling of Old Pulteney whisky liqueur from the 1990s, in a 50cl bottle at 28% ABV. The nose is malty, with toffee, orange peel, butter and shortcrust pastry, plus sweet, creamy vanilla and a faint meaty note. On the palate, salt and brine come through over heather and moss, with a hint of smoke. Very faint violets linger in the aftertaste.
