Old Pulteney Row To The Pole 2011 Commemorative Bottle is a limited edition single malt in a 35cl bottle. It marks the 2011 expedition led by Jock Wishart, when a five-man crew reached the magnetic North Pole in a custom-built Old Pulteney ice boat, the first row to the pole.
The whisky is dark copper with amber highlights. The nose is warm and spicy, with chocolate, raisins, vanilla and hazelnuts. The palate starts sweet with citrus, then shows raisins and pears, a full body, chocolate and warm spices, leading to a long finish.
