Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Year Old Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon (75cl)

Old Rip Van Winkle 25 Year Old is a Kentucky straight wheated bourbon, aged for a quarter of a century and sold in a 750ml bottle. It comes in a wooden display box. Because the mash bill uses wheat, the oak has a gentler influence than in a rye-recipe bourbon. The sweetness of the grain balances the wood instead of being overpowered by it, giving a smooth, refined character at an age few bourbons reach. The nose is caramel, vanilla and soft oak. The palate is led by oak, with sweet wheated sugars set against it, and the finish is smooth and of medium length, without heavy thickness or bite.
