A 45 year old single malt from Signatory Vintage, bottled in 2024 as part of the Old School Single Malt Tropical Fruit Edition. It spent all 45 years in a second-fill Oloroso sherry butt, and 860 bottles were drawn at 43.3% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtration.
The nose is led by ripe mango, juicy pineapple and sweet papaya, with understated honey and a vanilla sweetness. Fine oak and a gentle spice sit underneath. The mouthfeel is smooth, and the finish is long.
