Old St. Croix Non Plus Ultra La Galante (70cl)

A rum with a full but well-calibrated aromatic profile. The nose shows caramel and vanilla, with hints of dried fruit and citrus peel, plus a faint toasted wood note adding depth. On the palate it is round and enveloping, with a soft texture, controlled warmth and a spicy persistence balancing a pleasant sweet component. It is suited to drinking neat or with a cube, and also stands up to mixed preparations requiring structure. Serve at room temperature; it pairs well with dark chocolate, caramel-based desserts and aged cheeses.
