Old Williamsburg is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, aged for a minimum of 36 months and bottled at 40% ABV, or 80 proof, in a 750ml bottle. It carries a kosher certification.
The bourbon is sourced from Kentucky and bottled by Royal Liquors Co. of Scobeyville, New Jersey, in the long-standing practice of bottlers choosing barrels and releasing them under their own label.
The nose offers vanilla, brown sugar, buttered corn and light char. The palate shows vanilla, browned butter, caramelised sugar, toasted oak, light baking spice and a hint of fudge. The finish is medium, warm and dry, with toasted oak and a touch of spice.
