Ole Smoky Mango Habanero is a flavoured Tennessee whiskey bottled at 35% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It comes from the Ole Smoky Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. A Tennessee whiskey base is blended with real mango and habanero peppers rather than artificial flavourings. The aim is a steady move from sweetness to heat, with the whiskey giving structure while the fruit and pepper lead the flavour. Ripe mango leads the nose, with vanilla, oak and a faint peppery warmth behind. On the palate, tropical mango sweetness gives way to slowly building habanero heat, with light vanilla and oak beneath. The finish is medium in length and ends in a peppery warmth.
