Charred Moonshine is a 50cl bottle from Ole Smoky, an American distillery run by a family with roots in the Appalachian mountains. It was the first distillery to open with a licence in eastern Tennessee. This moonshine is a smoked blend, smooth and bold. The word moonshine dates from Prohibition, when it meant whiskey distilled in secret. Amber in colour, it has an intense nose led by a distinct smoky note. The palate is firm and vigorous, and lingers for a long time.
