Ole Smoky Original is a moonshine in a 50cl bottle, made from a family recipe that is 100 years old. It is an unaged corn spirit and clear in colour. It comes from Ole Smoky Moonshine in Tennessee, run by a family from the Appalachian mountains. It was the first federally licensed distillery to open in east Tennessee. The nose is classic moonshine, with light, sweet corn. The palate is less sweet than the nose, with corn and a rum-like note in the middle. The finish is short and clean.
