Ole Smoky Peanut Butter Whiskey is a flavoured Tennessee corn whiskey bottled at 30% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It starts from a corn whiskey aged for two years, made from a mash of 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley.
Real peanut oil is used in production, which gives the whiskey a nutty character rather than a purely sweet one.
The nose is roasted peanuts with soft caramel and a hint of graham cracker. On the palate it is creamy and thick, with peanut butter, caramel, toffee and vanilla. The finish is medium, warming and nutty.
