Some Beach is a coconut cream flavoured moonshine from Ole Smoky Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It is bottled at 17.5% ABV in a 75cl jar and was released as a seasonal expression.
It is built on the distillery's corn whiskey, blended with tropical coconut flavouring and cream. The distillery was founded in 2010 and was the first federally licensed distillery in East Tennessee.
The nose is ripe coconut with orange zest and a background of pineapple. The palate is rich and creamy, with coconut leading, then gentle citrus and pineapple over a faint corn whiskey base. The finish is light, with lingering coconut and soft fruity sweetness.
