Ole Smoky Tennessee Straight Bourbon is the first straight bourbon from the Ole Smoky Distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, which is better known for its flavoured range. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The bourbon spends four years in new charred oak, which is what qualifies it as a straight bourbon.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and brown sugar. The palate is smooth and full-bodied, with toasted oak, barrel char, subtle smoke and gentle spice. The finish is warm, with caramel, char and soft spice.
