This is a peated Ledaig from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull, a single cask bottling in the Old Malt Cask series from Hunter Laing & Co. Ltd. It is a 2007 whisky, matured for 16 years in a refill sherry butt and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Only 742 bottles were filled. It is non-chill-filtered and free of added colour.
The nose combines fruit with smoke and a warm spiciness. The palate balances sweet and smoky elements, and the finish is long, with lingering sweetness and a smoky close.
