Onikishi Demon Knight Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Onikishi Demon Knight is a blended Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It is the original expression in the Onikishi range, named from the Japanese words for demon, oni, and knight, kishi. It is produced in batches in Takacho Town, Hyogo Prefecture, using naturally soft, filtered Japanese water, and is styled as a highland-style blend. The nose brings toasted oak, floral honey, vanilla, caramel, gingerbread and dried citrus. On the palate, rich malt and sweet cereal lead to caramel, nutty syrup and vanilla ice cream. The finish has tangy yuzu and charred oak. Some batches lean darker, with dark chocolate, black plum and cracked pepper.
