Oremus Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos 2013 (50cl, 11.5%)

Oremus Tokaji Aszú 5 Puttonyos is a sweet wine from Tokaj in Hungary, in the 2013 vintage and in a 50cl bottle, at 11.5% vol. It is made from selected berries of Zéta, Sárgamuskotály, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, Hárslevelű and Furmint. The grapes are hand-picked berry by berry, lightly pressed and fermented in new Hungarian oak barriques. Ageing follows for two or three years in casks of 136 and 220 litres, then a further year in bottle. It is warm gold, with citrus, yellow peach and ripe apricot on the nose. The palate is rich and intense, ending long with orange blossom and spice.
