A sweet Tokaji from Oremus in Hungary, made from Furmint and Hárslevelü. The 6 puttonyos refers to the number of 25 kg baskets of botrytised Aszú grapes mixed into 136 litres of white base wine.
It is bright gold in colour. The nose shows honey, citrus, mainly mandarin, with fruit and pear, and hints of pastry and cinnamon.
On the palate, a marked acidity contrasts with the sweetness, with a faint memory of sweet quince and an intense, persistent length.
