Oreno Rosso from Tenuta Setteponti is a red Tuscan wine with an intense colour and a concentrated yet measured profile. The nose offers ripe red fruits, plum and a hint of cherry in spirit, with light tobacco, sweet spice and toasty notes. On the palate it is structured, with present but refined tannins, good balance between freshness and warmth, and a softness that supports the drinking. The finish is pleasant, with a savoury close that invites another sip. It suits substantial dishes such as grilled red meats, roasts, aged cheeses, mushroom dishes and rich sauces. Serve at a moderate temperature, opening the bottle an hour beforehand in younger cases to let it breathe.
