Orkney 24 Year Old Little Brown Dog (70cl, 53.1%)

A 24-year-old single malt from Orkney, bottled by Little Brown Dog at 53.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 30 August 2001 and bottled on 21 July 2026, with 428 bottles filled. The whisky is a vatting of two refill hogsheads, sister casks with low fill levels. Faint peat comes through as distant smoke, adding salinity and depth alongside a sweet fruitiness. Puffins appear on the label. On the nose there is salted caramel, apple skins and petrichor. The palate brings raspberry ripple ice cream, plain loaf and grilled red peppers, and the finish carries smoked almonds and quince jelly.
