Fable & Folly is a 14 year old American whiskey blend from Orphan Barrel, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The blender combined the remaining stocks of Barterhouse, Forged Oak and several Rhetoric releases with aged rye and corn whiskies. The aim was a nod to those earlier releases with a profile of its own, setting the creamy character of the bourbons against the spiciness of the rye.
It opens with a burst of spice, then warms to a creamy richness with sweet notes of syrup and fruit.
