Fanged Pursuit is a 17 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the Orphan Barrel collection, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It spent its 17 years in charred American oak.
It is the first Orphan Barrel release in North America to be bottled non-chill filtered, and it was made as a one-time release. The mash bill is stated as 68 to 74% corn, 18 to 22% rye and 8 to 10% malted barley.
The nose is usually described as vanilla, red cherries and honey over oak. The palate brings toasted oak, orchard fruits and warm spices, with a full body.
