Orphan Barrel Muckety Muck 25 Year Old is a single grain Scotch whisky from Port Dundas Distillery in Glasgow, which closed in 2010. It belongs to Diageo's Orphan Barrel Project, was released in January 2022 and is bottled at 45.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The corn-predominant grain whisky spent 25 years in first-fill and refill American ex-bourbon casks. It is named after a prized pig that lived on the distillery's pig farm, and the label comes in six variants, each showing the pig in a different coloured sash.
The character is that of a mature grain whisky: vanilla custard, toasted cereal and honey over soft oak, round and sweet, with gentle spice and dried fruit.
