Orphan Barrel Muckety-Muck is a 25 year old Scotch single grain whisky from Port Dundas Distillery, bottled at 45.5% in a 750ml bottle.
Port Dundas closed in 2010, and this whisky comes from the stocks that remain from that distillery, now with 25 years of ageing behind it.
The nose opens with caramel and baked sugar. Crisp fruit and light toasted oak lead the palate, with butterscotch and vanilla running through to the finish.
