A 25 year old Canadian whisky from Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co., a Diageo-owned brand that releases aged spirits. It was matured in oak barrels and is bottled at 45% (90 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings golden butterscotch, vanilla, toasted oak, honeyed sweetness and a little spice. On the palate there are brown sugar, roasted walnut and ripe fig, with a velvety texture and mature oak tannins. The finish is long, with dried fruit, warm spice, aged wood and lingering sweetness.
