Orphan Barrel Night Sage is a 25 year old blended Canadian whisky, made from a blend of Canadian whiskies and bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings butterscotch, vanilla, toasted oak, brown sugar and warm spice, with walnut behind. The palate is silky and richly textured, with ripe fig, dried fruit, honeyed oak, roasted walnut and sweet spice. The finish is long and warming.
It can be taken neat in a whisky glass, or with a few drops of water.
