Orphan Barrel Night Sage is a 25-year-old Canadian whisky, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was matured in oak barrels and released by Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co. as a limited national release.
The nose is golden butterscotch, creamy vanilla and toasted oak, with a little dried fruit. On the palate come brown sugar, walnut and ripe figs, alongside caramelised oak and warming spice. The finish is long, with dried fruit, oak and a soft sweetness.
