A 22 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company, bottled at 45.2% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is the company's eighth release and the third in the Rhetoric series.
Rhetoric is re-released each year with a year more age, so each bottling can be set beside the last. This one opens with toasted grain, cherry and oak, moving to toasted oak, dark chocolate, ripe banana and baking spices such as clove and anise. The finish is long and woody, with dark chocolate lingering.
