Orphan Barrel Whoop & Holler 28 Year Old American Whiskey (75cl)

Whoop & Holler is a 28 year old American whiskey from the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co., Diageo's project to bottle aged American whiskey that had been left forgotten at the back of distillery rickhouses. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The whiskey draws on Stitzel-Weller and associated heritage stocks that Diageo gained access to for the programme. In the glass it is a very deep amber. The nose offers aged oak, leather, dried fruit and deep caramel. On the palate it is rich and full, with the oak well integrated alongside sweetness and warm spice. The finish is long and evolving.
