This is the first bottling in the Founders' Release series from Outlaw Rum, finished in Islay Pinot Noir casks and bottled at cask strength in a 70cl bottle.
Only 800 bottles were filled. The finishing in Islay casks adds complexity to the rum and gives it a deep flavour and a bold, rich character.
On the palate there are very rich fruity notes, with hints of smooth smokiness that mellow into a full, rich body.
