Paddy's Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Paddy's is a triple-distilled Irish blend from County Cork, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It combines grain, malt and single pot still whiskeys and is matured in three types of oak cask. The brand traces its roots to 1779 and has been owned by Sazerac since 2016. It began as the flagship of the Cork Distilleries Company and takes its name from Paddy Flaherty, a company salesman whose generous rounds on his pub route led landlords to reorder by asking for his whiskey. The company made the name official in 1912. The nose is nutty and malty with woody freshness, spice, honey and vanilla. The palate is light and crisp, nutty and malty with a touch of charred wood. The finish fades gently, with sweetness, mellow malt and mild wood.
