Paddy is a triple distilled blended Irish whiskey made in Cork, in a 750ml bottle at 40% ABV. It combines all three styles of Irish whiskey: single pot still, single malt and grain.
First produced in 1779, it took the name Paddy in 1913, after the salesman Paddy Flaherty.
The nose is oily and fresh, with floral notes, cereal grains and fruit. The palate is sweet and medium-bodied, with toffee, cereals, rosewater, butterscotch and vanilla. The finish is dry and spicy, with black pepper and oak.
