Padre Azul Blanco (1L)

Padre Azul Blanco is a blanco tequila made by hand from blue agave and bottled straight after distillation. The agave grows for 8 to 10 years, is steam-cooked in masonry ovens for 24 to 48 hours and ferments for 72 to 96 hours. The 1 litre bottle is hand-blown and covered in leather, a nod to Lucha Libre wrestling masks, and is closed with a 270 gram solid metal skull stopper in tribute to the Día de los Muertos. The nose brings cooked agave, vanilla and coconut, with grapefruit, lemon, spearmint, cherry, peach and pineapple. The palate is velvety and intense, with cooked agave and fruit. It is recommended in a Paloma with grapefruit soda.
