Pampelle Ruby Lapero (70cl, 15%)

Pampelle Ruby Lapero is a grapefruit liqueur at 15% vol in a 70cl bottle. It is made with hand-picked Star Ruby grapefruit from Corsica, which give it a sweet bitterness. The fruit is halved, softened and pressed, and most of the juice is distilled in copper pot stills, the rest in a column. Citrus peel from around the world, including Bigarade from Haiti, Yuzu from Japan and Cedrat from France, is blended in with cinchona bark, gentian bitters and a grape eau-de-vie. It is finished on the banks of the Charente in Cognac, and each bottle is sealed with a protected dragonfly emblem. It works in a Spritz or a Negroni, with rosé, or simply with tonic.
