Papillon – Influence Pedro Ximénez

Papillon Influence Pedro Ximénez is a French whisky finished in Pedro Ximénez casks, the Spanish wine casks that give it a rich, rounded character. The finish in these casks adds depth to the whisky. The nose shows dried fruit, candied grape and caramel with a light woody note. On the palate it is full and velvety, with candied fruit, chocolate, brown sugar and soft spice. The finish is long and warming, with dried fruit, vanilla and wood. It is suited to drinking neat at room temperature, with a few drops of water if wanted.
