An Indian single malt from Paul John, aged seven years in first-fill American white oak casks and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made in Goa and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour or flavour.
Kanya is the sixth sign of the zodiac, represented by a maiden, and this is the first release in a series covering all twelve signs.
The nose opens with light citrus and manuka honey, then intense malt with ripe peach, apricot and vanilla. The palate is rich and creamy, with soft, sweet butterscotch from the oak. The finish brings warm spices through toasted oak, with a slight saltiness.
