Paul John – Mithuna Indian Single Malt (70cl, 58%)

Paul John Mithuna is a cask-strength Indian single malt from Goa, bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. It is the second release in the distillery's Zodiac series, named after the Indian counterpart of Gemini. The whisky is unpeated. It matured first in virgin American oak, then spent about a year in ex-bourbon barrels. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Tasting notes describe honey, vanilla and bourbon-oak sweetness, with dried fruit and spice, and a long, warming finish.
