Pedro Ximenez sherry finish
An Indian single malt from John Distilleries in Goa, made with six-row Indian barley that is malted in-house and distilled in copper pot stills. The whisky matures first in ex-bourbon casks, then is finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Andalusia. It is bottled at 48% ABV and is non-chill-filtered. The nose offers fig, raisin and toffee with cocoa, orange peel and warm oak. Dates, molasses and brown sugar meet dark chocolate, nutmeg and spiced plum on the palate. The finish moves from sweet sherry tones to espresso, cocoa and toasted oak.
