This is an XO grape brandy made in Goa, India, from Ugni Blanc and Bangalore Purple grapes. It matures for more than 10 years in medium-toasted new French Limousin oak and has a deep golden-amber colour.
The nose is honeyed, with fresh fig, apricot, strawberry liquorice and orange zest, lifted by herbs and light butterscotch. Sweet cranberry and rum raisin run through the palate, and sweet oak and natural caramel lengthen the finish.
