Peat's Beast Cask Strength is a heavily peated Scotch whisky, bottled in 2014 at 52.1% in a 70cl bottle. It carries no added colouring and has not been chill-filtered. Smoke is the focus here. The nose brings strong smoke, ash, citrus and a light touch of vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied and intense, with peat smoke, sweet malt, spice and a subtle maritime note, followed by a long, smoky finish.
