Peat Smoke on Gorgie 5 Year Old Blended Scotch (70cl, 57.1%)

Peat Smoke on Gorgie is a 5 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 57.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It combines 42% peated blended malt with 58% North British grain whisky aged 12 years, and was released in an edition of 618 bottles. The peated malt brings youthful smoke, while the older grain whisky adds sweetness and texture. It is described as earthy, with peat, orchard fruit and toasted malt, backed by vanilla, citrus and savoury coastal notes. A little water brings more of the smoke and maritime character forward.
