Peerless Double Oak Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl)

This is a straight rye whiskey from Kentucky, bottled in a 75cl format and sold under the Double Oak name. The nose is robust, with sweet seasoned oak and orange zest. On the palate it opens with warm molasses and earthy cinnamon, then moves towards bright florals and earthy, smoked herbs. The finish brings candied smoke, with the brighter and darker elements still pulling against one another at the close.
