This is a Welsh single malt from Penderyn, part of the Gold range alongside the Peated, Portwood and Sherrywood expressions. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and is non-chill filtered. The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak, then given further time in used Madeira wine casks. The nose is dried fruit, creamy toffee and raisins. The palate and finish are creamy, rich and soft, with honey, oak spice and vanilla.
