Penderyn Rich Oak is a Welsh single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in specially selected ex-bourbon and ex-wine casks that have been treated with the STR method, meaning shaved, toasted and recharred, so that the wood leaves a stronger mark on the whisky. The nose offers dark chocolate, cinnamon, pepper, green apple, mango, banana and guava. The palate is rich and complex, with vanilla, oak, cinnamon, nuts and toffee.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
