Pendleton Director's Reserve is a 20 year old blended Canadian whisky, matured in American oak barrels and bottled at 40% ABV. It is cut to strength with glacier-fed spring water from Mount Hood in Oregon.
The colour is a very light amber. The nose offers light brown sugar, vanilla and toasted oak, with a little dried apricot and pear and a touch of leather.
On the palate, oak and buttered toast come first, with almond, before molasses, caramel, red berries and baking spice follow. The finish is of medium length, with oak, dried fruit and soft spice.
